Monsoon is a time when you can easily fall ill due to the food habits you are following, because during this time of the year people are infected with bacterial or fungal infection to the highest percentage.

Thus, one needs to follow some dos and don'ts while taking food:
* Intake of maximum amount of water is a must during this season. * Never take golas and kulfis from street-vendors. * Chats and other spicy items need to be avoided during monsoons. * Having fruit or vegetable salads outside is also harmful because germs can easily grow there, always try and take home-made food during this season. * Brown rice and bread are the best food items to go .with during monsoons. * Prefer eating light food items, cooked vegetable which is home-made.
