Precautions form Sun Tan

With summers comes in a lot of heat and sweat, and so we need to take care
of the skin a lot more. Try and do things that can beat the heat, like drinking lots of water and natural juices. It will keep the body cool and hydrated. Always try and wear white's and cotton cloths, as white's does not absorb heat and cotton clothes let your body breathe and maintain body temperature too. Also its always good to wear hats, sunglasses this time
along with carrying an umbrella which is a must. It will protect you from heat and burns together. Lets hear from Tashnu Khariwala, brand manager, Shiseido "Always apply sunscreen 20 minutes before leaving the house, the
SPF always depends on the number of hours you are going to stay in the sun, and even if you are traveling by car apply a sun-screen of at least 15 SPF as sunrays penetrate even through glass." Sunscreen works best when applied half an hour before going out in the sun, and reapply whenever there is sweating. "Always wear a sunscreen. On the beach and swimming pool wear SPF 25% to 50%. Keep the texture of the sunscreen according to your skin type. For oily skin wear a sunscreen lotion and for dry skin wear a cream," says Makeup Consultant, Shalini Vasisht. "Use mineral foundation whenever you are out in the sun, as this forms a wall between your skin and the sun rays, thus protection your skin from tan," adds Makeup Artist, Meenakshi Dutt. I am sure these precautionary measures will make you bask in the glory of summerian sun.

 

 

Treating reating Ways Out


Even after following the precautions if you still find a tanny patch, then
here are the ways to cure yourself. If you get mild tans rub the affected area with a peeled potato skin, even raw potato juice can be applied for an instant affect. For severe tanning and dry skin mix sugar, lemon juice and glycerine and apply on the affected area gently in circular motions. Another easy way to get rid of tanning is by mixing one teaspoon each of potato
juice and lemon juice and apply it on affected area. Leave the mixture for 15 minutes and rinse it well with cold water. You can do it once a day until you get rid of the tan. Olive oil is also a good tan remover. "one can use the sun recovery cream, from Shiseido which will help in getting rid of sunburn, it also gives a moisturizing and coolong effect," adds Tashnu.

 

 

Easy Home Solutions


"Make a pack of multani mitti, sandal wood and rose water, apply all over
the face. This may make the skin dry so after use apply a moisturizer." Says Shalini. "Use gram flower while taking a shower, it helps to reduce sun tan, and lime juice also has a natural bleaching effect, thus it helps remove tan as well." suggests Tashnu. "Using Yogurt is also very helpful to get rid of tan naturally, take a little bit of yogurt and apply it on the exposed areas everyday as you get back home, it will help a lot to remove tan." says Meenakshi
