Water Therapy
One of the best ways to relieve your tired feet is to dip them in a bucket of warm water. Soak your feet for about 15 – 20 minutes. You could also add bath salts to it. Dry it with a towel and then add a fragrant lotion to it. This is very relaxing. Wear a pair of clean socks before you crawl to bed and your feet will thank you.
Massage
Place your feet above a pillow and rest for about 20 minutes. The elevation helps your feet relax. Massaging the soles of your feet will go a long way in making you feel soothe your tense muscles and increase circulation as well. Make sure to massage in the areas that hurt the most. It is ideal if someone else does it for you.
Easy on Those Heels, Girl!
The shoe that you are wearing could also be one of the causes of pain. Change to shoes that are more comfortable and that allow you to ease the pain. Take it easy on the heels. If your work involves standing for long periods of time then it is recommended that you do not wear heels that are too high. A two or three inch heeled shoe should suffice (unless you are a model walking the ramp of course.)
