Team Beauty
2010-08-14
While passion for size zero is a total passé, looking slim is still very much the in thing. Beauty brings to you the styles that can make you looks velte and beautiful without worrying for those extra flabs.

If bong beauty Bipasha is cool about her curvy contour, chirpy Kareena was never into size zero madness. Don't you know looking good is all about flaunting what you have, the right way and in the right fashion? Let us hear from our designers who suggest some latest trends whichwill highlight just the 'you'!

The Style Sheet

You might have a great who's who wardrobe but does that really help you look slim? Well, you know the answer better! Point to remember - style is the key to your desired look. Listen to designer Neeta Bhargava to know more. "While selecting a dress the only thing one has to remember is to go for styles that hide your fats. Styles that cling well are certainly not for you rather, go for a loose dress but should fall well. A dress in black will always make you look slim. Wear a loose top which is tight at waist with
simple trousers." That sounds fun!

Glam it up

Often it is observed that people who are on the heftier side prefer to wear attires that are oversized to the actual one. Well, that's such a turn down! Looking good is always about perfect fit, no matter what your size is. "Fashion is all about the perfect balance of styles. You can wear a fit ganji top but if the flabs are making you conscious, go for a slight loose over shirt. There are ways to hide your unwanted shapes. As beige is the hottest colour this season, you can doll it up with some vibrant accessory scarf or a jewel piece. This ways the attention to the undesired area shall automatically divert. Also, the bright colours are a good choice for a glamorous look but certainly not to wear it top to toe," suggests designer Atsu Sekhose.
